Theater IV Story of Jamestown

Barbara Lawson, a Virginia professional storyteller, engaged Lancaster Primary and Middle School students in two separate sessions on February 18th. In the morning session, eleven Primary School students assisted Ms. Lawson in helping her re-tell the story of the Cat in the Hat. Through its On Stage series, the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts brings professional performers to the community and to area schools. In addition, RFA sponsors a number of programs that promote the arts and arts education in the community, with a special emphasis on programming that introduces students to the performing and visual arts.
