Arts for Youth

Mark Nizer captivated students with "Sciencesplosion" featuring multi-media, lasers, juggling, and more in November 2019.

The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts brings performances to local schools through our Arts for Youth program so that students may experience quality artistic productions in our rural area.

Special emphasis is placed on programming that introduces students to a variety of artistic genres including musical productions, jazz, dramatic presentations, magic, and puppetry while still tying into school curriculum. To learn more about Arts for Youth, click on the link below.

The RFA would like to thank River Counties Community Foundation, The Mason and Lula Cole Charitable Trust, The Tidewater Foundation, Inc., The Virginia Commission for the Arts, and The National Endowment for the Arts for their generous grants in support of our school programs.
