The mission of the Rappahannock Foundation, Inc. is to be a community arts advocate by providing exceptional performing arts experiences in the Northern Neck of Virginia

Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts Performance History

1987 – 1988

"Spring Fling" style show produced by local ladies to raise funds for theater. Raised $19,500, with 639 in attendance.

1988 – 1989

June 11, 1989 – Wine and cheese event held at Westminster Rappahannock Canterbury for 85 people. Results of the cultural assessment completed by RFA were presented to attendees.

1989 – 1990

Don King Cowan's night with Mark Twain, at Lancaster Playhouse
A Steinway Celebration at old auditorium. Sold out concert with Patricia Parker Dewey and Pianist Robert Lumpkin.
RFA financially assisted in bringing Mime Artist Larry Goldstein on July 19th, Plunky Branch on July 29th, and Meet Mark Twain on September 8th in 1989.

1992 – 1993

Three Showcase Concerts to celebrate opening of theater.
Epic Brass - one concert for public and one each at high and middle schools, both with workshops in April 1993

1993 – 1994
